This is one of the earlier racing tractors used in the Rural Olympics--a 1926 Fordson.  Even when modified (it has a truck ring gear) it had no chance of ever winning (it usually overheated before it got going) but did manage to place 3rd in 1951.  The spirit of the Rural Olympics was to have fun no matter if you lost.
